Concept text. It has not been published yet and the date below is set on the day it is approved. Source of this text: the shared Kolkworks legal set (shared/legal/VOORWAARDEN.md).

1. Who you buy from

Digital products on our own sites are sold by Polar (polar.sh) as merchant of record. Polar's terms (polar.sh/legal/terms) govern the purchase, billing, taxes and refund processing. Products sold through a marketplace are governed by that marketplace's terms of purchase. These terms cover your use of the product and our websites.

2. License

Unless the product page says otherwise, a purchase gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the product for your own work, including commercial work you do for clients. You may not resell, redistribute or repackage the product itself, and you may not share license keys.

For Reportfold the licence is per user, at 99 euro one time per user, as stated on the product page. If you need more than a handful of seats, write to support@kolkworks.com before you buy.

3. Updates and availability

For Reportfold, the purchase includes twelve months of updates. After twelve months the version you have keeps working, for as long as you like. Renewing for another twelve months of updates is optional and discounted. Nothing beyond what the product page states is promised here.

4. Fair use of support

Support is provided by email in English or Dutch. First-line support is handled by an AI assistant and clearly labeled as such; a human reviews escalations.

5. No professional advice

Our products help you do your own work. They are not legal, tax, accounting or compliance advice, and results depend on your input. Where a product generates reports or checks, verify the outcome before you rely on it.

6. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Dutch law. Beyond that, our total liability for any claim related to a product is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect damage such as lost profits or lost data.

7. Withdrawal and refunds

EU consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content; at checkout you consent to immediate delivery and waive this right where the law allows, which the merchant of record handles. See the Refund policy for what we offer on top of the legal minimum.

8. Governing law

Dutch law applies. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer law says otherwise.
